About Mona
Mona is an International Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and an experienced registered Yoga Alliance teacher (RYT) with a unique background as an optometrist for 20 years.
This experience has honed her eye for detail, precision, and a deep understanding of the human body, enriching her yoga therapy practice.
Her unique blend of skills and deep understanding of the body and mind, makes her a passionate and effective practitioner in helping others live healthier and happier lives.
Mona provides yoga therapy to help a variety of health challenges such as low back pain, frozen shoulders, chemotherapy, chronic pain, post-surgery discomforts, anxiety and depression to name a few. Her approach is gentle yet effective, using yoga movements and breath-work to ease discomfort and promote healing.
Mona offers in-person and online classes to all ages. She also holds monthly workshops to introduce other healing modalities, such as sound healing, Yoga Nidra, basic Ayurveda, and Yoga philosophy.
Mona teaches yoga at a rehabilitation center for individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, and she also offers classes within the senior community in Orange County, California.
